Why single fabric survives the tombstones
Removing combinatorics and meld does not remove single fabric. Those mechanisms *served* single fabric poorly (refresh storms, stale multi-panel drift). Fixed profiles + sealed generation serve it better.
Research conclusion
Single fabric is physics. Belt is the die layout. Depth zero is law. Trees and fuses were scaffolding — now removed from the hot path.
